 Hi!
My name is Liliana(Lily), I was born in the
marvellous Romania, on November 28th 1982, but I
live in Italy from 2001.We
live in a small village
in the
province of Bergamo with my adorated
husband
and a very nice
cat "Buffy" that I love.I have always been a creative person, and
being absorbed
in one project or another - whether polymer clay
dolls, floral arrangements, and too many others
crafts
to mention here! However, in customizing fashion
dolls, I
believe I've found my creative outlet at
last.
It is from 2000 that I have had the possibility to
know Barbie when for the
first time
my husband gave me one. I've always loved dolls,
but I would not have never thought of
being able to play
with them.My
first Collectible Barbie was the Happy Holiday
of
1995.When I arrived in Italy I started
collecting fashion dolls and when I saw
for the first time on doll convention
an OOAK,it
was amazing.Once
at home I tried improving
with a doll and now
I am a fashion designer for dolls and I am very
satisfied.I
would not have ever believe of being able to
realize something that
could be
admired in a
showcase with
other Barbie.
Becoming a fashion designer was one of my dreams
and when I starded collecting
and costumizing dolls,
I thought
I realized
it.
I create
a wide variety of styles of dolls, ranging from
eveningwear to fantasy creations.Some of my
designs are planned weeks in advance, step by
step, and there are others that I start at the
spur of the moment with no idea.All
ooak-dolls
are designed with love and greatest attention in
every detail: materials,hand bag,jewelry, shoes, hair styles and facial
repaints.
With Barbie I succeed in
realizing my
dreams;I am
a fashion designer of
spouses,as
I have always dreamed of being
so,
and moreover have the possibility to live again
fantastic histories
that only the
dolls
realizes.
